Dr. Donald J. Wheeler has been helping people learn how to use their data more effectively for over 50 years. He was a student and colleague of Dr. W. Edwards Deming for 21 years and is a recipient of the Deming Medal. He is a Fellow of both the American Statistical Association and the American Society for Quality. He has conducted over 1100 seminars in 17 countries on five continents. He has written over 20 books and 400 articles. His books have been translated into five languages and he has corresponded with individuals in over 50 countries. Through these seminars, books and articles Dr. Wheeler has had a profound impact on companies and organizations around the world.

Dr. Wheeler graduated from the University of Texas with a B.A. in Mathematics, and holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Statistics from Southern Methodist University. From 1970 to 1982 he taught in the Statistics Department at the University of Tennessee, where he was a tenured Associate Professor. In 1982 he left the university to teach people in business and industry around the world. His clients have proven that his approach will increase both quality and productivity, and these improvements commonly translate into a competitive advantage in their markets.
